Looking for a great place for your clients or group to stay overnight?
Georgia's Land of Cowboys, Indians & Southern Legends is an ideal location. Otherwise known as Cartersville, Georgia, the area is convenient to Atlanta with all the character and personality of a small town. Group lodging rates meet any budget or level of luxury required by your clientele. All properties are conveniently located next to perennial dining favorites such as Cracker Barrel, Ryan's Steakhouse and
unique local dining choices.

Need a place to stop for lunch or spend a few hours stretching your legs?

The quaint downtown areas of Adairsville and Cartersville can't be beat for convenience and variety. Adairsville offers several favorite local restaurants within walking distance. Your passengers can disembark and choose from Tea Room dining, an old-fashioned soda fountain, or a nice southern inn offering daily specials. The dining choices mix and mingle with several unique shops, all in the first town in Georgia to be listed in its entirety on the National Register of Historic Places. The Adairsville Welcome Center serves as tour headquarters inside the antebellum train depot that witnessed the Civil War's daring Great Locomotive Chase. The center offers historical displays, free visitor information and a place for individual group members to relax while others browse the neighboring shops.

Downtown Cartersville, a Georgia Main Street City, boasts 12 renown restaurants for the hungry traveler, ranging from competing 1930's lunch counters, a fine restaurant that is tops in North Georgia, to authentic Italian, organic sandwiches and salads and a charming tea room. The downtown shops are the real attraction here. An eclectic mix of fashion, antiques, collectibles and home furnishings, make this area especially appealing. The county's main Visitor Information Center is centrally located in the 1854 train depot. The adjacent Friendship Plaza provides a park-like setting for your group to rest and watch the trains go by, while others may choose to stroll past our "Fence of Fame" to learn about famous residents in history.

Pair some of the treasures (World-class museums, American Indian and Civil War history, and performing arts) offered in both towns and you've got a two or three-day tour mapped out. The area's proximity to Atlanta and Chattanooga-area attractions, plus those in Northwest Georgia's Historic High Country, simplifies your planning and broadens your possibilities for hub-and-spoke tours.
