Public Square Opera House Dinner Theater

770-773-1902

Dinner Theater is gaining great popularity at Adairsville's Public Square Opera House. The opera house produces about six dinner theater performances each year. This attraction is inside the 1902 Stock Exchange, a thriving antiques emporium and tea room in Historic Adairsville. Most performances feature themes that are historical in nature by popular authors, such as
Mark Twain and Louisa May Alcott. The dinner and performance lasts approximately three hours. Group rates are available. Reservations are
required.

Pumphouse Players

770-387-2610

This theater troupe has been an important segment of the cultural arts scene in Cartersville since its formation in the late 1960's. The Pumphouse
Players draws talent from the local area, as well as metro-Atlanta. The troupe has had active roles in the renovation of two Cartersville theaters: The Grand and The Legion. Musicals and broad performances are held in the Grand Theater, while The Legion Theater is the permanent home to the Pumpies and where many one-acts and small productions are held. Another theatrical endeavor of this group is radio drama. Popular in the 1940's, the Pumphouse Players revived this art form some three years ago at the delight of local listeners. Keeping theater fresh and exciting is just one of many goals achieved by the players. See the events section or call for a list or upcoming performances.
