12:15 p.m. in the Booth Theatre. Maynard Dixon's reputation as a Western artist has risen substantially in recent years. He is viewed as one of the few artists who could apply modern art techniques to Western subjects in a way that both satisfies critics and mesmerizes Western art collectors. Join Suzan Campbell, Gund Curator of Western Art, History, and Culture at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, for a discussion of the life and times of Maynard Dixon.
