By Horton Foote. A Pumphouse Players performance directed by Dave Boggess. Carrie Watts is living the twilight of her life trapped in an apartment in 1940's Houston, Texas with a controlling daughter-in-law and a hen-pecked son. Her fondest wish is to revisit Bountiful, the small Texas town of her youth. This prompts "escape" attempts each month, which coincide with the arrival of Mrs. Watts' Social Security check. Then, Mrs. Watts makes a successful escape and last trip home. The play was made into an Oscar award winning film. Shows Friday-Saturday at 8 p.m. Matinees at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Advance Tickets: $15 adults general admission, $12 seniors, students and PHP members; $18 per person at the door.
