Walk Through History at Springbank

Historic Springbank
10 a.m. Join local historian and Kennesaw State University Professor J.B. Tate as he relates the history of Springbank, including secrets of the Howard Family Cemetery and first-hand accounts of the Civil War found in native daughter Frances Thomas Howard's published history, "In and Out of the Lines." TREESBartow's Melissa Phillips will share information on the record-setting Springbank Oak, the Springbank Tree Trail maintained onsite, and other historic plants of the era. Don't miss this rare opportunity to enjoy this Bartow County Greenspace preserve. The walk is one mile or less, lasting approximately 2 hours and is rated easy.
